On July 4, 2026, our country will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Inspired by the theme "One Nation, Many Stories," the national America 250 initiative will celebrate our country with programs and events to reflect on our past, honor contributions, and envision our future.

The City of Roswell joins with the rest of the nation in marking this historic milestone by spearheading our community’s effort to commemorate this national celebration.
Roswell's recognition of America 250—called Tapestry of Generations—weaves together the stories of each generation through celebration, education, remembrance, and reflection.

The City of Roswell is working with community partners to organize a yearlong, Citywide celebration in 2026.
We're looking for local business and community organizations to join us in planning special events and programs. There are a variety of ways you can participate:
- Collaborate with us on City-hosted events
- Sponsor a City-hosted event
- Host your own program or event
Our community partners will be part of the City’s marketing and communication efforts, including access to a Roswell America 250-branded media kit to help get the word out across our community.
